0 What is a Wesleyan?

My particular way of understanding God is distinctly Wesleyan, which is why I chose to attend Asbury Theological Seminary which is the largest (theologically) Wesleyan seminary in the world.

Outside of a Christian eduction and simply following teachings of a later apostle, what does it mean to BE Wesleyan?

I think it is distinctly this:
  • to know that sin kills.
  • to believe that Christ saves in the present moment and forever.
  • to have hope that Christians can change now.
  • to see the Church as more than a gathering, but an effectual body.
